Questions About Obamacare

The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was sold to the American people as a plan that would provide health insurance to forty million uninsured Americans, and make health insurance affordable to the middle class, without affecting those that liked their existing coverage. The public was told that the cost of health insurance would be lower for […]

The Fisker Fiasco

In 2009 Vice President Joe Biden joined Henrik Fisker for a televised announcement that the Department of Energy would loan Fisker Automotive, Inc. $529 million to manufacture a new, energy efficient, plug-in hybrid car. Biden told a Delaware audience that the federal loan to Fisker Automotive was seed money that would return “billions and billions and […]

Fluke Flak Fallout

Last month, Sandra Fluke told a committee of Congressional Democrats that she and other Georgetown law school women are being treated unfairly because they have to pay up to  $3,000 out of their own pockets for birth control during law school. Her testimony was being offered in support of Obama’s healthcare mandate requiring “free” birth control […]

The Audacity of Spin

The Democrat spin machine has reached new levels of audacity and hypocrisy in trying to explain its policy of forced, universal obedience to its healthcare directives. Like the Soviet commissars before them, they  are blaming the Church and all counter revolutionaries for holding back the benefits the worker’s paradise. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC chair, […]

Obama’s Gleichschaltung

Liberals are Compassionate With Other People’s Money‏

If you ask most liberals why they are liberal you will normally get answers like this-“I care about the needs of the poor and oppressed”, or “I believe that government should work to create a ‘just’ society that provides for the needs of all people.” Conversely, if you ask  liberals what most conservatives believe, they […]

What’s Wrong With Income Inequality?

Numerous articles have recently been published warning of the dangers of “GROWING INCOME INEQUALITY!”  Rich people are  reported to be accumulating wealth at a faster pace than the lowest income citizens. Oh, the horror!!!   Okay, really, am I missing something? So…, what’s wrong with that? I suppose that the authors of those articles presumed […]

Political Weapons of Mass Destruction

Chris Matthews on MSNBC recently said that Republicans couldn’t decide on a presidential candidate because they are consumed by hate. He also said that Republican brains are so wracked by hate that they have trouble liking anyone, even one of their own candidates. That Republicans are motivated by “hate” is an unquestioned article of faith […]

Excessive Government Regulation Perverts Politics and Hobbles Free Market

The line goes something like this: Stricter government oversight and regulation of business is necessary because the greedy Wall Street speculators and large multinational corporations have unduly influenced the political process for selfish gain, enriching themselves at public expense and impoverishing the common working people through unfair domination of the world’s resources, resulting in a […]
