As a reminder, the next Bastiat Society meeting in Charlotte will be Wednesday, April 17 from 6:30-7:30. Location still to be determined. Additionally, Dr. Russ Sobel, economics professor at the College of Charleston, will be speaking on April 8 at 2p.m. at Johnson & Wales Univ. at the Hance Auditorium on “Entrepreneurship, Economic Freedom, and Prosperity.” Bastiat Society members are invited to attend. The event is free and open to the public. The Hance Auditorium is located at 801 W. Trade St. directly across from the DoubleTree Hotel (parking is located at the deck on the corner of Trade and Cedar).
