A 1999 Cum Laude graduate of UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business, Christian has spent fifteen years as an award winning political activist and consultant in both North and South Carolina...with a little radio talk show hosting and newspaper editing thrown in for good measure. A self-described "Republitarian", Christian is an unabashed advocate of traditional free market capitalism and views passage of the FairTax as the single most effective method to combat the social manipulation and corruption found in government today. When not stressing over yet another new law, Christian enjoys treasure hunting, obscure European power metal bands, good beer, and anything related to Carolina Panthers football...except talking about the 2001 season. He's removed that from memory.

For what it’s worth, that’s the same tune they have been singing for months…”It’s a done deal”.  Sound familiar? In reality, opponents are galvanized […]

HOT Lane Concerns Finally Being Brought to Governor

While Governor Pat McCrory has all but refused to meet with citizens concerned with plans to give a 50 year contract to a foreign company to construct toll roads on I-77, the recent uptick in local opposition has now led to some discussions between McCrory, the NCDOT, and some members of the local General Assembly […]

Voter Freedom Act Needs Action

It’s no secret that I support a dramatic overhaul of the election system we have in place which currently favors moneyed interests and established political parties over individual free thought and expression of values. To that end, there is a bill in the North Carolina House, HB509, The Voter Freedom Act, which would make it easier for […]

Republican Controlled NCGA Seeks Driving Permits for Illegal Aliens

It no longer amazes me what some Republicans in the General Assembly will try to sneak through an unsuspecting population…many of whom were elected to office under the pretense of being opposed to such things as they are now supporting. Certainly, some very good bills have been filed this session, but seemingly for every good […]

The Ghosts of Hillary

Hillary Clinton’s entrance into the Presidential race certainly came as no surprise.  What is surprising is how many people consider her a viable candidate given her history of corruption, ineptitude, lack of accomplishment, and abhorrent political ideology.  There’s also the little matter of just how many people around her have died of mysterious circumstances at “convenient” […]
