Last Chance to Vote for WBT’s “Next Talker”
Over recent weeks, Charlotte’s 1110 WBT radio has been promoting a contest for wannabe radio stars where entrants submit a short YouTube video outlining their idea for the station’s next Sunday evening broadcast. Over 100 entries have been received, and now it is up to fans of WBT to vote for their top ten submissions. Today is the last day to vote in the contest.
Three members (that I know of) of the PunditHouse family have entries in the contest and I’d like to throw some last minute support their way.
In order of their submission, first up is Vincent Bordini and his show entitled, “Sacred Cow Tipping”. His self description of the show reads, “Tune in on Sunday evening for myth-busting, provocative topics and a breakdown of the news cycle each week. Whether it’s in our backyard or across the globe we will talk about what is on everyone’s mind and few things that ought to be. Thank You for your support.”

Next up is a submission from the tandem of Scott Babbidge and Earl Phillip and their show, “The Real Right with Big Black and Little White”. They bill themselves thusly, “We are Big Black (Earl Phillip) and Little White (Scott Babbidge) and our show is “The Real Right – with Big Black and Little White”. We will bring you a show with guests, with our own brand of “Real Right” commentary. We will cover topics from local and national politics to economics to sports and entertainment and everything in between. We’ll be watching and holding elected officials accountable for making good on their promises and we’ll tackle issues with solid common sense solutions.”
