During the weekend games with The San Diego Gulls, The Charlotte Checkers hostec the annual Pink in the Rink to raise awareness and to raise funds for local charities. For the 40th straight year the Town of Pineville and the Parks and Recreation Department have hosted this evening out at Valentines Day for the Senior Citizens of the Pineville area.
