Checkers host an “Old Time Hockey” Weekend

The weekend included two games with the AHL leading Texas Stars, a showing of the 1977 movie “Slap Shot”, appearances by the Hanson Brothers, and a split between the teams with Texas winning on Friday night and an over-time win by the Checkers on Sunday afternoon.
