An Immigration Parable

|

Submitted by Dean Smith:

A parable (of sorts) for my liberal friends:

There once was a man whose home was falling down around him. In addition, the household was chaos, full of  drunkenness and drugs and fighting. One day the man’s son decided he could take no more of this chaos, so he moved in, uninvited, to his neighbor’s home. Now his neighbor was a just man and took compassion on the boy, but he had increasingly meager resources with the addition of the new mouth to feed, so he asked the boy to help out around the house and pay for his room and board. The boy was insulted; he refused to pay, and refused to leave. The boy’s father
found out about the neighbor’s demands and went to the neighbor’s home, and called the neighbor’s family in for a meeting. The boy’s father insulted the neighbor, and said that his demands were demeaning to his son’s dignity. He said that the neighbor should appreciate his son more, and should just let him do whatever he wanted. He said that
the neighbor was lucky to have such a noble boy living under his roof and he should possibly go out and get a second job to pay for the boys well-being. Then the father slapped the boy on the back, and said “see ya kid.” And the father went back to his rotting home.

And all the Democrats, and the Attorney General, and the Director of Homeland Security stood and cheered for the Father’s wise speech. The end.
