Myrick AWOL on DADT
So our armed forces are implementing “programs” to facilitate the inclusion of homosexuals in the military. The Soviets forced human beings they controlled into “reeducation camps” to be properly “conditioned” for the many splendored wonders of communist life. Our elitist rulers don’t miss a thing, do they?
The reality of the repeal of DADT is that for the very first time in our nations’ history, homosexuality is officially recognized by the federal government. According to polls taken of military personnel before the repeal vote, combat unit personnel expressed the greatest opposition to the repeal of the policy.
What this portends for the future of the military is easily predictable. Attaining high rank in all three services is predicated on combat service. Homosexuals serving in combat units will claim denial of promotion on homosexual bigotry. Lawsuits will be filed, courts will rule, policy will be established.
This will result in homosexuals becoming a ” protected class ” within the military. All recruits will be required to declare their sexual preference upon enlistment. Once the percentage of homosexuals in the three branches is determined, quotas reflecting that percentage will be ” achieved” in the makeup of the officer corp.
Homosexuals will receive special attention – mentoring/monitoring – to make sure they achieve higher rank, which will redound in credit to the officers who bring about that desired outcome. Homosexuality will be a qualifying characteristic of soldiers seeking advancement through the ranks. This will encourage heterosexual personnel to lie about sexual orientation to achieve higher rank.
Of course, as is their want, homosexual officers will use their authority to seduce those they command. This is why homosexuality was banned in the military in the first place. Young people, especially young men, away from home in an alien environment are particularly susceptible to homosexual coercion.
Congressional oversight will be established to make sure the system is running smoothly and anomalies – transgendered personnel, with all the permutation and combinations therein – will be accomodated.
The fact homosexuality is as mentally and physically debilitating as drug addiction will be ignored. After all, we’re making a moral statement here and we musn’t ever let facts get in the way of emotion, should we? I mean national security is not the object of having the military in the first place. As we all know, the Founders established the military not to protect us, but to spearhead social change.
Or so believes the Ruling Class Elitists who have been obsessively advocating societal acceptance of homosexuality for the past 30 years.
The question is: Why doesn’t the new, supposedly conservative, Republican dominated Congress, vote to return to DADT, or even better, revert to an outright ban on homosexuals in the military? The answer is Sue Myrick and her pals don’t have the stomach for the battle.
Oh they bemoan how horrible things are and wish our culture wasn’t so decadent, but they are only elected officials charged with leading our nation. It’s just not they’re job to dicate morality to people.
It’s better to let others with the courage of their convictions like Barney Frank do that. Besides, it might get you into trouble, and if there is one thing our lifetime, professional politicians don’t want under any circumstances, it’s trouble. You might have a contested election. YOU MIGHT LOSE YOUR HIGH PAYING JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
