Roy Cooper- Just TOO Liberal-Progressive for North Carolina

|

Does anybody believe Roy Cooper is intending to run for re-election for AG? This is his announcing his run for Governor in 2016.  What he writes in this article is a full list of the Rev. Billy “Bark” Barber’s talking points, just stated in lawyer speak, not hate-spewing racist’s speak. It is a perfect recitation of the whole list of Liberal-Progressive failure talking points, complete with the regular string of either distorted observations or outright lies.

From the article-

“We need a commitment to responsible and strategic investments in public education from pre-kindergarten through higher education. Raising teacher pay, rewarding good teachers and restoring their assistants, and investing in higher education are priorities that will help students now. And in the longer term, it will strengthen our economy.”

Anyone who lives in the real world and sees the general “quality” of Citizen and worker our PK- 12 education system is now producing tells US that the “commitment” of throwing bushel baskets of dollars to Liberal-Progressive Educrats to expand their “whole-life indoctrination” system DOESN’T WORK!

From the article-

“By accepting federal Medicaid funding — which North Carolina is paying for regardless — we would not only offer health care and long-term care for 500,000 North Carolinians, it would create tens of thousands of new jobs in our state and add billions to our struggling economy.”

Again, while expressing the true beliefs of a hard-core Liberal-Progressive, he fails to mention that at this point the national government is driving the destruction of the United States economically by borrowing $0,40 of every dollar from our global economic enemies to buy votes with “free medical care” and artificially inflating the real costs of healthcare for North Carolina Taxpayers.

From the article-

“A fair tax code with targeted tax breaks aimed at the middle class will bring back our people’s confidence that North Carolina’s state government understands the challenges of these economic times. And job creation initiatives that rely on public/private partnerships and help businesses of every size are vital.”

Just the next Liberal-Progressive talking point. This one is maybe the most blatant. It allows the government to violate the “equal protection under the law” that every American Citizen is Constitutionally guaranteed by using “targeted tax breaks aimed at the middle class”. And in the creating “initiatives that rely on public/private partnerships and help businesses” allows government to pick winners and losers as opposed to allowing the Citizens and the market to make those decisions. As you look around the State at the smoldering wreckage of disasters of government cronyism and favoritism from “Murphy to Manteo”, how has this plan worked for the Citizens of North Carolina?

From the article-

“But what may be even more important is the effect those policies have on a state’s self- image and what it shows to the rest of the world. North Carolina has had much success for fifty years, not just because we were on the leading edge of change in the American south, but also because we embraced this change as a natural part of our state’s heritage and history.”

I’m sorry, but I REALLY don’t give a damn what the rest of the Country and the rest of the World think of North Carolina. As the new policies of our State start causing the poverty pimps and the cronyism hucksters to leave the State because the grown-ups in the NEW State government have turned off their gravy train and rely on REAL economic growth through market driven solutions, we have an opportunity to stop the destruction that 50 years of Liberal-Progressive Utopianism have caused in our great State.

In closing, from the article-

“North Carolina is better than this. We must turn this around and move forward. As North Carolinians have seen and experienced this year, the alternative is unacceptable.”

On this point, he is partially right. North Carolina is better than this. And by the grownups who now run our State government continuing on the trail they have blazed in the last and current Legislative Session, we are turning this around and starting the recovery from the destruction created by the past 50 years of Liberal-Progressive Utopians running the State. The point every Citizen of North Carolina should learn from this gubernatorial announcement is that Roy Cooper is TOO Liberal and TOO Progressive for North Carolina and needs to be purged from our government completely!
