Well, it’s not April 1  so we’re assuming this is legit. The following was posted by County Commissioner Bill James on his Facebook page:

You have heard of the French Connection. Here is the “Black Connection”.

About 200 years ago, a man was born (Issac Baker). He was black and as a child, he and his parents (newly married) were driven out of NC around 1810. He lived a long life and in 1911 near the end of this life he sat down to take a family picture. He is my great-great-great-great-great Granddad and he was Black.

The picture above shows five generations in one place at one time.
Me (1/64th black)
My mother (1/32 black)
My grandmother (1/16 black)
My great-granddad (1/8 black)
My great great grandmonther (1/4 black)
MY great great great grandmother (1/2 Black)
My great-great great great granddad (Black)

My good friend Normman Mitchell said he ‘always knew’.
