I’m passing along this information from the SC District 5 Patriots (located in Rock Hill, SC) about the upcoming, April 15th Tax Day Rally in Washington, DC. Our neighbors to the south (with a sponsorship from FreedomWorks) are chartering a 1 day bus trip from Rock Hill to DC and back for those interested in attending this rally and they are offering Charlotte area conservative activists a seat at NO CHARGE. Room is limited to the first 40 who commit. If there is enough interest, they will schedule a pick-up/drop-off location in Charlotte.

On April 15, 2013 – Tax Day – conservative activists from across the country converge upon Washington, DC for a Day of Action. 
FreedomWorks will launch an ambitious legislative agenda that has the support of conservative lawmakers from across America.  
It’s Called:

It’s time to take a stand for American ideals framed by common sense! 

The New Fair Deal is built upon four pillars:
    • End Corporate Welfare
    • Tax Fairly
    • Stop Overspending
    • Empower Individuals
Pillar One demands an end to corporate welfare.  No special favors should be extended to special interests.

Pillar Two calls for a fair and even tax code.  It is immoral to pit one American against another.

Pillar Three suggests the unthinkable:  Government should live within its means.

Pillar Four empowers the individual over the state, allowing “We the People” to choose which programs work best for us and our families.

FreedomWorks will be chartering a bus from Rock Hill, SC, to transport the first 40 people who reserve a seat by replying to topalka@earthlink.net directly. 
You will only be responsible for the cost of food and incidentals.  

This is a one-day trip, leaving early (approximately 5 am) and returning immediately following the event, which is scheduled to take place from noon to 4 pm.  Anticipated time of arrival back in Rock Hill will be approximately 11 pm – midnight.  Specific details will be announced when the trip is finalized.
