Is The Iraq War Over?
With Obama’s recent announcement that the troops are coming home and the Iraq War is over, as a veteran of the first Iraq War, I have to question the reality of this.
In the first war, under former President George H.W. Bush, he pulled the plug early, while those leading the troops thought we should go on. President Bush # 1 was a moderate, not a conservative. He did not see the big picture and did not see his own son, President George W. Bush, having to go back and revisit the situation again.
Now, Obama, as far left as they come, has decided to pull out prematurely, again. Will we be back full force in Iraq ten years from now or sooner? Most likely.
