Colin Powell – The Man Who Could Have Been President (But Won’t Be Now)
It has taken less than two decades for former general Colin Powell to take himself down, and down with a great big thud. He has gone from Hero to Zero in less than 20 years.
Once a hero to all who served in the United States Military, he turned coat in the 2008 election blasting both President Bushes and has become nothing short of a talking head for the Obama Administration and the hateful, radical, left-wing Democratic party.
Jumping on the bandwagon (a little late in the game) of how Conservatives and Republicans are hateful and evil since the Tucson shootings (where a Republican Judge WAS assasinated), he is basically calling for the return of the “Fairness Doctrine”, a program designed to bankrupt conservative/right-wing radio stations by forcing them to carry an equal number of low-rated left-wing talk shows…left-wing talk shows that bankrupted left-wing network “Air America”.
Colin Powell needs to shut his pie-hole, unless he wants to talk about the military or something that he has a clue on.
The rhetoric that he goes around speaking these days has pretty much diminished any respect that most military folks had for this guy back in the gulf war days. There was a time when those people would have voted for him as President, but his racism is showing and his hate for those who believe in the America that was founded on Christian principles in 1776 is showing, too. Nothing short of a Benedict Arnold, Colin Powell needs to go enjoy his retirement and leave politics alone.
