Halloween Trick Brings Tears, Life Lessons
Late night host Jimmy Kimmel asked parents to pretend they had eaten all their kid’s Halloween candy and to record the results. Sounds hilarious, right? But what he actually got were tears. Lots of them. Watch the clip below.
Why were the children so upset?
Maybe because they had invested their time and energy into choosing costumes and going house to house collecting candy. They worked for it and deserved to keep it, but an authority figure who is supposed to have their best interests in mind confiscated their earnings.
They felt betrayed. They felt cheated.
