America’s Tet Offensive: The Obama Administration’s Socialist And Communist Infiltration of American Government

|

1968 In Vietnam

One of the turning points of the Vietnam War was the 1968 battle called the “Tet Offensive.”  North Vietnamese and Communist South Vietnamese forces realized they could not sustain the heavy losses they were suffering by battling American and South Vietnamese forces in traditional engagements, and so they decided on a strategy of turning the political and public opinion tide against the war by infiltrating many cities in the south and attacking their enemy from within.  On January 31st, 1968, communist guerrillas (Viet Cong) launched attacks on major cities, provincial capitals, and hamlets around the south.  While the attacks were military failures, they did succeed in solidifying anti-war activists against continuing the war, especially when General Westmoreland announced that it would take another 200,000 US soldiers to complete the defeat of the communists.  Just as with the Communist’s realization in 1968 that they could not win the war by conventional means, so to most revolutionaries in America decades ago came to the same realization and hence decided to change their strategy from confrontation to infiltration.

 America’s Tet Offensive

And now we Americans find ourselves engaged in our own Tet Offensive where socialist and communist forces have for many years taken to heart the strategy of Saul Alinsky to work from within the system to organize voters, infiltrate governing bodies and influence elections through covert means; all with the goal of overthrowing our traditional American government and replacing it with a socialist or communist “utopia” where the inequities of capitalism and free enterprise are replaced with the equality of redistribution of resources.  This new “infiltration” strategy was brought to light with the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States and with the in-depth investigations by authors like Aaron Klein in his book “The Manchurian President” with its look into our new President’s background, his mentors, and their political beliefs and strategies.

“The Manchurian President”:  Required Reading

Klein’s work is nothing short of remarkable, alarming, and outraging and should be read by everyone who wants to understand how the left is working through our political system for change.    “The Manchurian President” traces Mr. Obama from birth, through his college years, and on to his beginnings in Chicago politics as a “community organizer,” pointing out those who were instrumental in influencing, mentoring, and training our President in his philosophies.  The work concludes with identifying the socialists and communists groups who supported Mr. Obama’s Presidential campaign and with tracing the background of Mr. Obama’s key political allies, staff, and appointees.  We are left to wonder why this information was not brought to light by the media and by Mr. Obama’s political adversaries during the campaign for it most assuredly would have affected the outcome of the election.

Mr. Obama Trained By Socialists

Barack Obama owes much of his political training to followers of the  “Saul Alinsky brand of socialist change which departed from the more radical Marxist-Lennist template of violent overthrow of the state to advocate for Alinsky’s viewpoint that radicals be political relativists, that they should take an agnostic view of means and ends.  In Alinsky’s view, the revolutionary’s purpose is to undermine the system and then see what happens.  The Alinsky radical has a single principle-to take power from the Haves and give it to the Have-nots.”1  As 60’s radical David Horowitz states about the Alinsky model:  “The strategy of working within the system until you can accumulate enough power to destroy it was what sixties radicals called “boring from within,”  it was a strategy that the New Left despised even as Alinsky and his followers practiced it.  Alinsky and his followers infiltrated the War on Poverty, made alliances with the Kennedys and the Democratic Party, and secured funds from the federal government.  Like termites, they set about to eat away at the foundations of the building in expectation that one day they could cause it to collapse.””2

Mr. Obama’s trainers and mentors, upon his arriving in Chicago in 1985, included Gregory Galluzzo, who described himself as an Alinsky “true believer,” and member of the Gamaliel Foundation, a Chicago organization that believed in “shared abundance for all, ”  and Mr. John L McKnight, a “student of Alinsky’s radical tactics.”  Mr. McKnight also sits on the board of National People’s Action, “an organization that employs the aggressive street tactics of Alinskyite organizing.””3 A key tactic Mr. Obama and other Alinksy socialists employed was that of faith-based and congregation-based community organizing with the aim to “build metropolitan-area networks of community leaders able to mobilize large numbers of their parishioners and neighbors to change public policy and hold public officials accountable.”4

Socialist Circles Of Influence

“The Manchurian President” leaves the reader with the realization that our President spent his entire early career learning the tactics and strategies of socialists and communists like Saul Alinsky and William Ayers and how best to apply those tactics to influence political change.  He assimilated others of like minded thinking through his relationships in numerous socialist organizations like the Students for a Democratic Society from which his association with terrorist Bill Ayers originated.  William Ayers, Bill’s father, hired Mr. Obama as Chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, an “educational foundation” that in reality granted money to radical leftist activist causes including the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now(ACORN) and other organizations like the Ayers/Klonsky organization formed by Mike Klonsky, the leader of the Marxist Leninist Communist Party.  Mr. Obama was listed as a member of the radical New Party, formed in 1992 by member of the Democratic Socialists of America(DSA), to move the Democratic party to the left and whose endorsement he actively sought in his State Senate race.

Socialists And Communists Among Us

Today, with President Obama in office for more than a year, we see the results of electing a socialist as President…an individual who has no experience running a business or creating jobs, and whose only experience is in organizing individuals for “change” and whose goals are to undermine the Constitution of the United States.  Mr. Obama’s current federal budget is $1.65 trillion dollars in debt.  He has signed a bill to socialize healthcare in America that will cost another $1 to $2 trillion dollars.  His appointees at the FTC have issued a white paper detailing the reinvention of journalism that is nothing more than a government takeover by the funding, training, and hiring of future “journalists.”

Mr. Obama has hired by appointment, and not with the advice and consent of Congress, “czars” that share his collectivist, controlling, “redistribution of the wealth” mindset.  Only through public scrutiny and outcry did the background and beliefs of Van Jones, his green jobs czar and an avowed communist come to life and force his resignation.  Cass Sunstein, the President’s choice for Information and Regulatory Affairs czar, openly promotes a socialist bill of rights, has petitioned to redistribute America’s wealth, and pushed for a “New Deal Fairness Doctrine” to regulate the news media, among other radical goals.”5  These are the types of individuals with which Mr. Obama has surrounded himself to implement policy and govern the citizenry.

Winning America’s “Tet Offensive”

Like our brave soldiers and their South Vietnamese allies who repelled the 1968 communist Tet Offensive, inflicted additional heavy casualties on the enemy, and who restored peace to South Vietnam, the design and goals of today’s socialist and communists, like Mr. Obama, who have infiltrated America’s government have been brought to light by work’s like Aaron Klein’s “The Manchurian President” and by the efforts of today’s “new media” of radio and television analysts.  Winning this battle and the war for the future of America will require not the abandonment of the fight as we did in Vietnam, but an escalation of the conflict worthy of the prize…freedom versus government control.
