CAUTION –Please join CAUTION at our regular Monday meetings at the Dilworth Neighborhood Grille located at 911 East Morehead Street in Charlotte.  The meeting runs from 6:00 to 7:30pm with a social hour in advance.  See you there!

Last week our President, Dennis Peterson, issued us a challenge to the following question: What does CAUTION need to be doing so we don’t wake up on the Wednesday after the Election with regrets? CAUTION is requesting you to submit at least one IDEA for action(s) that we need to be doing. We will be discussing these at the 08/27 meeting. If you will not be there, please go to the CAUTION web site, go to Contact Us, and submit it there. This is a KEY moment in the life of our country. We need your input!

Americans for Prosperity is presenting an “Obama’s Failing Agenda” bus tour. Charlotte — Monday, Sept. 3 — 2:30-7:00 pm — Michelle Malkin will join us for a Labor Day Celebration of American Excellence at SMS Catering at 1764 Norland Rd,Charlotte, NC 28205.

The event will feature entertainment and activities for the young and old including beach music with the Craig Woolard Band. There will be great food, volleyball, basketball, mini golf, and arcade style games. There will also be opportunities for concerned citizens to put grassroots pressure on the President by signing our petition and participating in the “Freedom Phones” phone banking system. Mecklenburg County Young Republicans will hold their monthly meeting right before the DNC on Tuesday, August 28th at 7:PM at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille. Meck GOP Convention Watch Party – Thursday, August 30, Mecklenburg Republicans will gather at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille to hear from local candidates and cheer the nomination of Mitt Romney as the Republican Nominee for President of the United States.  The event is from 8pm until 11pm.

UNC Charlotte College Republicans host U.S. Congressman Tim Scott (SC-1) in CHHS room 380 on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:00pm. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend the event as well.
