The Weekly Activist
35 Days Until Election Day!!
Upcoming Events
Monday, October 1 – CAUTION Meeting
Please join us at this evening’s CAUTION meeting as we host a training session on election poll observing. The legitimacy of elections depends on transparency and the ability of voters, concerned citizens, federal observers, and watchdog groups to observe the process of the election. Although you cast your vote in private, and no one has the right to know how or for whom you voted, the procedures by which the election is run can and should be observed in a healthy democracy. Join us to learn the proper rules and procedures for this important duty.
As always, we meet at the Dilworth Neighborhood Grille located at 911 East Morehead Street from 6:00 until 7:30PM with a social hour in advance.
All are welcome!
