Tuesday, August 21, 6:30pm – Mecklenburg County Campaign for Liberty
This month, we’ll be discussing how to get involved with the local Republican Party, with a special emphasis on the pros and cons of local Republican Auxiliary and Tea Party-oriented clubs. We’ll talk about the focus of these groups, what advantages and disadvantages each offers, and the opportunities each offers to “spread the message.” Join us next Tuesday for food, fellowship, and fun!

Tuesday, August 21 and Wednesday, August 22, 6:00-8:00PM – Get Out the Vote Workshop
The GOTV workshops are presented by the Meck GOP in cooperation with the Leadership Institute. The workshops teach voter targeting and contact strategies, and participants will learn ways to implement effective precinct and district organizing.
The August 21 workshop will be held at the Morrison Library Auditorium (7015 Morrison Blvd, Charlotte) and the August 22 workshop will be at the NCGOP Victory Office located at 8301-17 Magnolia Estates Drive in Cornelius.

Thursday, August 23, 6:30-8:00pm – South Mecklenburg Republican Club
This month, we are kicking off our ‘Get Involved’ series by inviting the MeckGOP precinct organization leaders for a discussion about the party’s grassroots organization and how the club can support precinct organization efforts. We will want to hear from you on what you think of the effectiveness of the party’s grassroots efforts and how it can be made even stronger. We also have an open invitation for candidates to share their campaign needs with us. This month we will meet at LongHorn Steakhouse in the Centrum, across from Carolina Place Mall. (10605 Centrum Parkway , Pineville, NC 28134).
