Team BO’s Latest Assault On Liberty
After reading the 23 ‘gun control’ executive orders the President signed this week (see full list below) many gun owners will think, “Well, that’s not so bad,” or, “It could’ve been worse.”
I disagree. This is exactly the “tyrannical, all-out assault on liberty” Obama claimed he was not guilty of in his speech today.
Putting aside any additional ‘ban’ laws Congress may pass, this was a brilliantly insidious move in which Obama effectively destroyed the First, Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments in one fell swoop.
Take a look at Executive Order Number 4: “Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.”
They can now simply declare a person ‘dangerous’ and take their guns. Even if you’ve never committed a crime or been adjudicated mentally defective, if you say or do something that is re-categorized as being dangerous – your guns are gone.
Not your assault weapons. Not your high-cap magazines. Not your mean looking guns. ALL OF YOUR GUNS. GONE. FOREVER.
No crime, no court, no jury, no due process. Just… GONE.
Take a look at numbers 2, 16. Ever go to the doctor?
Then take a look at 12, 18, and 19. Have children in school or college? Go to church?
Then take a look at number 7. Ever talk to your neighbor, family members, friends or co-workers about your guns?
What they have done is turned doctors, nurses, teachers, professors, clergy, and everyone else you know into tools to report you in any instance that you say or do the “wrong” thing.
Have a concealed carry license or ever served in the military? Hell, you’re already dangerous. You’re probably first on the list.
Speak out politically or religiously? You better hush up. You’ll be classified as dangerous and they’ll come get your guns! You or your spouse taking an anti-depressant or other psychological drug? Don’t tell anyone you have guns, they’ll come take them away!
Unhappy with your ex-wife or ex-husband? Don’t make them mad, they’ll say you’re dangerous, and they’ll come take your guns! Lost your job, unhappy with the economy or in danger of financial ruin? You’re likely to be dangerous, so no guns for you!
Live with your crazy mother-in-law who’s driving you crazy? Don’t tell your doctor, you’ll be classified as dangerous and they’ll come get your guns! Spank your children? Don’t let them tell the teacher; you’ll be classified as dangerous and they’ll come get your guns!
Drink a little too much on the weekends? You better stop; you’ll be classified as dangerous and they’ll come get your guns!
Think I’m paranoid? Don’t tell anyone; they’ll come get my guns!
See, they know they could never take everyone’s guns at once with a hard and fast law or decree. One, if they tried that they’d have a war on their hands; and two, even if the people didn’t rise up, seeing that the federal government is broke they couldn’t afford to do it all at once anyway. This way, they avoid the war, they get to confiscate guns one person at a time, and they get to stretch out the cost and resources. All the while making gun owners who say a word against them seem paranoid, crazy, insane, and yes, categorically and officially… dangerous.
Make no mistake. Gun confiscation in the United States officially began today.
These people are evil. They do not care about the children that died at Newtown. They do not care about the truly mentally ill. They do not care about your private property rights. They do not care about the Constitution. And they certainly don’t care about you or your safety.
But they are also very patient, very smart, and very, very well armed.
You should be too. Carry well, carry often, and keep your powder dry.
