MeckGOP Precinct Meetings Forthcoming
For those readers interested in becoming active within the Republican Party, the first (and crucial!) step is to attend the forthcoming Mecklenburg County Precinct meetings. It is through this process that residents become eligible to attend the County Convention and vote on leadership positions within the local Party. Furthermore, District and State Conventions will this year also elect leadership and work on platform issues and resolutions. Your participation begins at the precinct meetings.
Having attended these throughout the years, there is nothing to be “afraid” of. Each year, veteran Party activists are joined by newcomers all looking to make a difference. All are welcome.
If you are unable to attend the precinct meetings, there is an absentee letter that can be submitted to the County Party. While absent from the MeckGOP website, a current precinct chairman provided PunditHouse with a scan of the form. You can download it by Clicking HERE.
