Charlotte Tax Day Tea Party Scheduled
The Charlotte Tax Day Tea Party rally will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 3pm to 5pm on the lawn of the Old City Hall located at 600 E. Trade Street, Charlotte, NC.
The Charlotte Tea Party movement is committed to enabling citizens of all walks of life and political affiliations to gather together to voice their concerns and opposition to the out of control taxation and spending at all levels of government.
This year’s event is the second Tax Day Tea Party hosted by the Charlotte Tea Party movement. Various speakers have been assembled to explain why this is a unique time in America’s history and what individuals can do to be heard by their representatives.

Loren Spivak- Free Market Warrior
Darrin Rankin- Former Charlotte City Council Candidate

Neil Braithwaite- Blogger, featured on Rush Limbaugh (PunditHouse Contributor)
Kristie Chapman- Healthcare legislation expert
Adam Love- Campaign for Liberty
Don Rosenberg- GOOOH
Jason Kitchel- Young Conservative
Additional speakers will discuss topics such as taxes, government, and activism.
“We are looking forward to an exciting event this year, one that is even better than last year’s Tax Day Tea Party,” said Matthew Ridenhour, the founder of Charlotte’s Tea Party movement. “The movement has grown in size and passion during the last year as even more people have become frustrated with reckless government spending and the over-reaching arm of big government. This will be a great opportunity for people to hear excellent speakers and meet other like-minded conservatives.”
