And Tea Partiers are Angry?

|

Every now and again Conservatives are pleasantly graced with what can only be described as a total meltdown by a liberal talking head.  Oh boy did we just get one.

Making the viral YouTube rounds yesterday was a clip from MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan where what was apparently supposed to be an interview with the Tea Party Express’s Mark Williams turned into an obnoxious display of arrogance, ignorance, and vein popping…by Dylan Ratigan.

In the world where normal people live, an “interview” is supposed to be a two way discussion about an issue.  In the world of MSNBC, apparently an “interview” is simply an opportunity to throw a temper tantrum on live television.

Passion for a cause is certainly something to applaud, but Mr. Ratigan only proved himself an embarrassment by throwing out nonsensical commentary with traditional ranting flair.  Gems included:

“…the understandable principles advocated by the Tea Party movement such as the separation of banking and investing, and church, and all these things.”

Um, what?

Or, even better, after Mr. Williams had essentially been unable to say anything at all:

“So you’re saying you accept racists and Nazi’s, is that what you’re saying?”

Ratigan’s powers of telepathy must have been on the fritz in order to gain that kind of false insight from Williams.

Having attended multiple TeaParty rallies, I have yet to see a Nazi skinhead or anyone advocating the killing of anyone…a far cry from the anti-Bush rallies where the former President was hung in effigy by cheering libs.
This video is another take on Ratigan’s meltdown from Fox News’ Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.
