In this edition of the Saturday Night House Party, we celebrate some local comings and goings.
In the “comings” category, Flogging Molly returns to Charlotte on February 26 at the Fillmore. This is one of those bands I have always wanted to see live, and finally have my chance. Who’s going?!
In the “goings” category, it’s been quite a couple weeks on the political front. Bev Perdue isn’t running for Gov, Walter Dalton is, but that takes him out of the Lt. Gov seat, Heath Shuler is calling it quits in NC-11, former Democrat Speaker of the House Joe Hackney isn’t running, and there are many others.
To all of you not running, here is a tribute.
