Obama’s Flip, Flop, Flip On Gay Marriage
The evolution of Barack Obama is complete…or is it? When young Mister Obama first ran for office in Chicago he proclaimed that he was in favor of same-sex marriage. Then a few years later, when he was running for United States Senate, he said that he opposed it. As of yesterday he has come full circle and now once again says that he is in favor of same-sex marriage. Flip. Flop. Flip.
The real issue here is not same-sex marriage versus civil unions, or anything of the sort. The big issue is the blatant, pathetic, despicable pandering in which the president is engaging. I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about other people’s bedroom activities; if you want to live with a man, a woman or hyena, I wish you all a long happy healthy life.
What frosts me is simply ignoring the fact that words must have definitions in order to mean anything. But even worse than that is the ugly behavior from our nation’s panderer-in-chief. We’ve seen cheap sleazy politicians before, but this is a new low from BO.
