Defense? We Don’t Need No Stinking Defense

|

After weeks of testimony and evidence, prosecutors today rested their case against accused cop-killer Demetrius Montgomery; and moments later the defense did the same. Without even putting on a case. Closing arguments from both sides are expected to start tomorrow.

This from WBTV:

Judge Bridges decided Tuesday afternoon that the jury will be able to consider a lesser conviction than first-degree murder. A second-degree option is now an option for jurors when they begin deliberations in the case.

Second-degree? For killing two cops in cold blood? Speaks volumes about how potentially flawed this case and investigation have been handled, and I would fully expect an outrage from this community; should that come to pass.
