Perry’s Goodbye Gaffe
Criticism of Rick Perry as being slow on the uptake was confirmed today when a reality evident to anybody with even half of a head for politics finally dawned on the Texas governor that, “there is no viable path forward for me in the 2012 campaign.”
Perry dropped out of the GOP presidential clustermuck horserace this afternoon with an endorsement of – and folks, if you ever needed definitive proof that Perry was a diehard statist cloaked in a bogus conservative champion’s cloth, this sums it up nicely – Newt Gingrich, who Perry called a “conservative visionary.”
Somebody needs an eye exam.
