About That DNC Chair
That would be Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who blew into town last week for some photo opps, a fancy dinner, and some shameless vote-pandering to the Hispanic community, all while gushing about Charlotte’s “energy” and “dynamism.”
Villaraigosa was all smiles and spin for the cameras here, but his absolutely abysmal performance of late out on the West Coast left Democrat National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz sputtering in his defense during a recent interview with California radio station KABC:
Not exactly the bundles of “energy” and “dynamism” that Villaraigosa attributed to Charlotte, but at least it sounds like there are some commonalities. Apparently they can’t afford to pave their sidewalks in L.A. either.
