Democrats Pile On Booker Bashing
It does not pay to be honest if you are a Democrat. That seems to be the lesson we can take from the recent smack down of Newark New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker by loyal Obamatons. Booker, a loyal democrat and a strong supporter of President Obama, appeared on one of those talking head shows last Sunday and dared to say that he was uncomfortable with the Obama campaign’s continuing attacks on Mitt Romney and other participants in that dreaded system of free enterprise.
Booker declared that it was nauseating to beat up on private equity firms, and for that he has been taken to the proverbial wood shed. Obama’s loyal minions in the left wing media establishment like MSDNC’s Chris Matthews claimed that Booker was trying to sabotage the Obama re-election campaign. A whole assortment of Obama hacks and flacks derided Booker and eventually Booker claimed that he was taken out of context.
So very sad. Cory Booker tells the truth and the Democrats punish him. Elizabeth Warren lies and lies and the Democrats reward her.
