Say Cheese
Wisconsin votes today and whether you are an actual cheesehead or just a cheesy, it is an important moment. Remember why this election is being held in the first place. The people of Wisconsin, who generally speaking are fairly far to the left, decided about a year and a half ago to make a change. They had a choice between Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. They chose Scott Walker.
They made him governor because he promised to uphold and support the Wisconsin constitution, which requires state officials to be responsible. In Scott Walker they got a mature responsible governor and because of that he has been targeted by the irresponsible union hacks. Outside interest groups, from George Soros on down, financed the recall Walker campaign and today Wisconsinites will once again have a choice between the mature and responsible Scott Walker and the uber leftist Tom Barrett.
This is a dry run for November’s presidential election. Will the taxpayers win for a change or will it be another big payoff for union goons?
