Buying Into Baloney On The Ballot
The fallout from the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare is still being felt, reviewed and examined. Indeed, we’ll be dealing with it for many years to come. I still wonder if there might be some silver lining shining through from Chief Justice John Roberts’ decision. I maintain that Roberts did all of us a good turn in getting the leftists to agree that the commerce clause needed to be reigned in and that Obamacare is a taxing whopper.
And Roberts provided all of us with a civics lesson when he wrote, “It is not our job to protect people from the consequences of their political choices.” In other words: hey, you voted for hope and change; you got hope and change. You bought in to the idea that big-mommy government should wipe your nose throughout your entire life; well, here ya go.
Roberts reminded all of us that elections have consequences. Sadly one of those consequences was that a belligerent bully masquerading as the President was able to provide baloney sandwiches to the masses and convince them that it was actually steak.
