Bad Week For BO

|

First a federal appeals court slapped down the Obama’s Administration misguided attempt to enforce a six-month moratorium on deepwater drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, then King James snubbed Obama’s old Chicago stomping grounds in favor of South Beach and the Heat.

Telling reactions to both developments: In LeBron James’ case, Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert fired off a classless and inane rant that’s sure to make it more difficult to recruit top-flight talent to Cleveland. The Obama Administration reacted in equally churlish and foolish  fashion to the federal appeals court ruling, declaring it would immediately issue a new moratorium if it lost the case, which two courts have now ruled was completely arbitrary and would wreak economic calamity on the industry and, by extension, the Gulf Coast region.
