Obama’s War With The Catholic Church
The latest assault on people of faith is under way and not surprisingly you can thank Barack Obama for it. Obama’s Health and Human Services Department has now decreed that every employer in the nation, including religious institutions, will be forced to provide health insurance to employees that will include sterilization, abortion-inducing drugs and contraception.
The initial outrage at this despicable demand came from the Catholic Church, where leaders distributed letters to their parishioners this past Sunday advising them of the latest assault. The Catholic Church operates many social service agencies, providing services to the poor and the hungry, as well as hundreds of hospitals around the country. Each of those agencies and hospitals would be required by the feds to pay for health plans that provide these services. If the church fails to pay for abortion on demand services, then the feds say they will step in and fine them. A church-going employee who would prefer not to pay for abortion services would also be subject to fines. Hey ,Mister President, what happened to that separation of church and state thing?
