The Supremes Working OT

|

It does my heart good to see The Supremes back together and almost working a full day. The nine distinguished justices are, of course, hearing the matter of Obamacare. By Supreme Court standards it’s an overtime day. They will have actually heard a grand total of six hours of oral arguments spread out over the last three days. Ordinarily, they hear exactly one hour total, so you understand that this is regarded to be the most important matter since the court heard Brown vs. Board of Education back in 1954.

What is at stake here; strikes at the very heart of what it is to be an American. Our grand experiment has always valued the individual and safeguarded the individual’s rights. If Obamacare is allowed to stand, that chapter in our history will be closed. Big mommy government will steal more of your money and tell you exactly what your healthcare should be. But be clear – it won’t stop there. The DC crowd would then be able to tell you what to eat, when to sleep, and what to wear … probably drab grey suits, I’m thinking.
