Kennedy Compound Stiffs Tax Rolls
And now the latest from America’s most dysfunctional family: Teddy the K’s little get away place in Hyannistport is being donated. It seems that the modest compound was just not what Miss Vicky wanted for her post-Teddy life and so she’s gifting it to the Ted Kennedy-rips off the taxpayers-one last time Shrine.
See, Teddy’s crash pad will now be used to host conferences consisting of other far left wingers who will sit around, kvetch about how terrible Republicans are, and then excuse themselves to visit the bar and get a little more, you know, intellectual inspiration. Of course, if the Kennedy clan had continued their ownership of the palatial estate they would have continued to pay property taxes. If they had simply sold the pad the new owner would have paid property taxes.
But by donating it, the Kennedy crew gets to pay the ultimate tribute to Uncle Teddy. They take a property off the tax rolls and get themselves a deal. Of course the glass bottom boats will have some place to dock now.
