Time For Mitt To Take Off The Gloves
I was chatting with Glenn Beck this morning on the radio show and the subject of Mitt Romney came up. I mentioned to Glenn that I was really disappointed to hear Romney once again say that Barack Obama is a nice guy. As I heard the words coming out of Romney’s mouth I immediately flashed back to the worst Republican presidential candidate in history, John McCain.
Do you remember just a few years ago when McCain was running? He couldn’t bring himself to say anything even remotely negative about his opponent. In fact RINO McCain twisted himself into a human pretzel as he went out of his way to compliment and flatter then-Senator Obama. McCain even fired staffers and surrogates who told the truth about Obama, or dared to use Obama’s middle name. At no time did Obama or his team ever say a kind word about McCain.
Romney has pointed out that Obama is incompetent and in over his head, so he’s not exactly blowing kisses. But he’s got to cut the nice guy stuff, or he’ll wind up with John McCain in the failed candidates club.
