Retiring Dem Lifts Page From Leftist Playbook
Gary Ackerman, a career politician from New York, recently announced that he will retire after feeding at the public trough for three decades. Ackerman has devoted his time over the years to advocating for every ill-conceived, left wing idea and his public pronouncements have all come from the leftist playbook. Never once in 30 years has anyone accused Ackerman of being a thoughtful or independent voice. He is known as a water carrier’s water carrier.
Even as he gets ready to ride into the sunset, he sings from the leftist hymnal. He proclaimed, “I think the people have gotten dumber.” Who are these people, you might ask? They are conservative voters and Republican congressmen. Ackerman has always been a petty and bitter fellow and he leaves office in usual fashion.
But he also exposes what leftists really do believe with every fiber of their being, which is that those who disagree with their ideology are clearly dumb. It’s just as valid a belief as those who slam the word racist on anyone who dares to question the naked emperor in the Oval Office. And just as wrong.
