Obama’s Budget Busted
There was a marvelous moment in Washington, DC, the other day. No, I am not talking about the reports that Ruth Buzzi Ginsberg apparently stayed awake for the entire Obamacare hearing. I’m not even thinking of that oh-so-telling, hot-mic moment for President Obama, when he confided to Russia’s president that after his coronation in November he’d be quite willing to sell out our country. No, no, no. I’m talking about when American hero Congressman Mick Mulvaney stood up and introduced President Obama’s $3.6 trillion budget.
Funny that Fort Mill, South Carolina’s Republican Congressman Mulvaney, one of the most honest, forthright and consistent conservatives in Congress, would introduce it; but he did – to force a vote on the monstrosity and show just how abominable it is. For some reason, the Democrats had not bothered.
I know what you’re thinking. As soon as Democrat Obama’s budget was introduced, Nancy Pelosi jumped on Broomstick One to vote in favor of it, right? Wrong! In fact not only did Democrats ditch the dear leader’s budget, the White House staffers worked the phones to make sure no democrats actually voted for the Obama budget, which was unanimously defeated with a 414-0 vote.
Tells you a lot, doesn’t it?
